 “How smart is the Photo industry?”

Already on the title page the globaly read magazine ‘International Contact’ quoted the key question of from Mayflower Concepts' presentation at the Business Forum Imaging in Cologne.

On page 10 of his magazine publisher Thomas Blömer stated:

“The presentation of Heino Hilbig (Mayflower  Conecpts Marketing Consultants) at the business Forum Imaging Cologne provided a real ticking-off for the photo and imaging sector. The former Marketing Director of Olympus Europe said photography’s image was still characterized by complexity. For this reason, taking good pictures was, for many consumers, not connected with fun and good experience but with science. The industry needed to change this quickly if coming genrations were to associate the term ’camera’ not just with an icon on their smartphone, he said. He also gave a few suggestions on how photography’s technically oriented image could be corrected.
